代名詞「one,another,the other others」 を完璧にする
前回は代名詞「oneとanother」の用法と使い分けについて復習しました。
今回は「the otherとothers」似ているようで全く違います。今回の記事を読んで完璧に使いこなせるようになりましょう。
the otherとothersの用法
まずはthe otherやotherのもともとの形「other」を使って意味を考えます。
other
意味は（別の〜、他の〜）です。otherは特定でなく同じ種類のモノの代名詞として使います。
例: I have other pens,if you need.(もし必要なら、他のペンもあります。)
others
otherの語尾にsをつけて「others」名詞の働きをしてothersの形で使うことができます。
例: one is an apple and the others are oranges.(１つはリンゴで、残りのいくつかはオレンジです。)
the other
otherに特定のものを指すtheがついた形です。

１つがボールで、残り他に１つという意味になります。

こちらも、１つがone、もう１つがanother,そして残り他に１つがthe otherです。

the othersは残りを選ぶとき、複数形の場合the othersを使います。

othersはsomeと一緒に使うことも可能です。。ある不特定の中からsome（いくつか）とりだし、またその中からothers（別にいくつか）取り出すと考えましょう。
Some people like baseball,and others like tennis.(野球が好きな人がいれば、テニスが好きな人もいます。)
注意してほしいことはグループが２つ以上できることです。よくわからない人は以下の「someとthe others」の使い分けを確認すると納得できるはず。

こちらは不特定の中からsome（いくつか）選んで、the others(残り全部)を選ぶと２つのグループに分かれることになります。
